The Hutchinson Challenger TLR 700x25 (25-622) redefines the all-weather road tire. Designed to offer comfort, durability, and puncture resistance of the highest level, it benefits from Hutchinson's expertise in the development of tubeless road tires since 2006.

The result of several years of research and development in France, it incorporates two major technologies: Hardshield™ for puncture protection and Airshield™ for optimal airtightness.

Integrated technologies

Hardshield™ – Maximum protection

System composed of two distinct layers:

  • A first layer of flexible polyamide covering the entire tread.

  • A second layer of ultra-resistant aramid fibers concentrated on the contact area.

The result: exceptional protection while maintaining flexibility and comfort.

Airshield™ – Advanced airtightness

Two high-performance compounds ensure a 100% airtight environment.
The flexible butyl layer extends to the bead to guarantee a perfect seal, even without preventive fluid.

Although the tire can be used without sealant, Hutchinson recommends using a liquid such as Protect'Air Max for optimal self-repairing protection during endurance riding.
